Golden Gate Lab Rescue
Golden Gate Lab Rescue is an all-volunteer, nonprofit tax-exempt organization
in the greater San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. GGLR’s rescue
team saves purebred Labrador Retrievers and Lab mixes from shelters, as
well as assist people giving up their dogs for adoption. It provides
foster homes, veterinary care, and rehabilitation when needed, and place
them with loving, forever families.
The Whole Pet Vet supports and provides discounted services to GGLR.
Safe Haven Cat Rescue
Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary was founded on the belief that no animal should
have to go hungry, be homeless or live in fear or pain. The sanctuary believes
that all animals deserve to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect
and provided with care that increases their opportunity for a safe life.
Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization. The
Sanctuary is a 'no kill' facility staffed entirely by volunteers who are
deeply dedicated to the care and well being of special needs animals. All
funding comes through your donations and corporate sponsorship.
The Whole Pet Vet supports and provides discounted services to Safe Haven
Cat Rescue.
HSSV (Humane Society of Silicon Valley)
Humane Society Silicon Valley is an independent, non-profit animal shelter
that has been serving people and pets for 80 years. In April 2009, it moved
from Santa Clara to a new Animal Community Center in Milpitas. HSSV
also operate a satellite adoption center in PETCO in the El Paseo Shopping
Center in San Jose.
The new Animal Community Center is the first environmentally "green" certified
animal facility in the country to offer an adoption program with a full spectrum
of pet and community services: A Medical Center specializing in affordable
spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping and testing services; A Dog Park;
Doggie Daycare, Boarding, training and Grooming services provided through
A DOG's LIFE; An Education Center with programs for children and teens; A
Community Room that can be rented by groups for meetings; A Whole Pets store,
and a Pet-Friendly Cafe.
The Whole Pet Vet will sponsor HSSV’s Fur Ball in the spring 2010.
